Xention is capitalising on the under-exploitation of ion channel drug targets and the significance of ion channels in the pathophysiology of cardiac arrythmias. To achieve our objectives, we have developed an integrated approach to ion channel drug discovery comprising numerous critical components proprietary to the Company. We believe that our unique asset base and expertise will allow us to exploit this very significant opportunity.
We plan to capitalise on our expertise by progressing our key internal programmes to clinical proof of concept at which point we will seek development partnerships with third parties with the necessary development and commercial capabilities.
